Petre Nicolae General Manager CBC Romania

General Manager of CBC Romania since 2005, Petre Nicolae is distinguished on the Romanian business market through extensive experience in transformational consulting, organizational and strategic management, business coaching, team building and integrated transformational training. With over 15 years of experience in the field of business management, Petre Nicolae has been dedicated, since 2003, to consulting, being specialized in strategic and organizational management.

In CBC Romania, under the leadership of Petre Nicolae, the only program addressed to managers and top managers in Romania was launched, becoming a landmark on the Romanian transformation training and consultancy market. As a graduate of a PhD in Sales and Marketing Management, and an EMBA at CNAM Paris, Petre Nicolae has the expertise to become one of the most important consultants on the Romanian market in terms of strategic management consulting, mentoring , recruitment and head-hunting.

The GM Master Class Academy training program is the only program in Romania that provides a certification accredited by the Romanian state bodies according to COR. It is structured on four mandatory and two optional modules: organization and reorganization of a company, management of process and organizational systems mapping, management of performance management, implementation and implementation of a coaching strategy, techniques and methods for coaching, leadership coaching. Most of those who enroll in this program come to the recommendation of graduates, who believe that the program has significantly improved the way they run their business and who are further talking about their CBC experience.

The development of the program was a success for CBC Romania, the company registering a 27% growth in turnover in 2014, demonstrating in this way that Romania needs such top managers’ development programs.

Petre Nicolae had an interesting career with many changes. Years later, what seemed at one point in his career an important moment, he later discovered that it could be considered a mistake or, at least, a hurry whose shortcomings he later noticed. Such a moment has been to advance easily to the position of supervisor at Interbrands. One performance, however, was the post of CEO at European Drinks, as well as the top five in the market in which he acted. Leading its business with the motto of the Performance Strategy, CBC is a solution for managers in need to build sustainable strategies, but above all, organic development of their company.

In recent years, Petre Nicolae has focused on recruiting and head-hunting for large or multinational national companies. Disappointed with employers ‘tendency to prefer seniority over employees’ skills, Petre Nicolae has found the difficulty of finding suitable people for leadership positions, and in some cases is forced to employ more trained and experienced people abroad behind.

Another problem for Romanian employees is the frequency of the burnout phenomenon, says Petre Nicolae, the moment of physical and mental exhaustion of unskilled employees who have not improved their skills and which can become a danger to the company when they are in positions of top management. In this situation, there are more and more employees over 40 years old who, losing their job, face serious problems when they want to find another job in the same position, all the more so if their level has stagnated in recent years .

Being professional in what he is doing, Petre Nicolae considered that he should provide the correct feedback to those who apply for the jobs offered, which turned out to be received in a negative way by the Romanians. An unpleasant experience in this sense was created by some of the candidates who received negative feedback after they applied to the jobs for which Petre Nicolae was doing head-hunting. Unhappy with feedback, they have started a negative campaign against CBC on most of their sites. It was one of the moments when Petre Nicolae came to the conclusion that Romanians like to be lying, they do not want to know exactly where they are, so they now offer only filtered feedback.

This year, Petre Nicolae proposed to open the first Marketing Academy in Romania, where marketing methodology methodology will be transferred. The program will also work according to the methodology transfer method, because this method has proved to be fruitful, providing remarkable results. In this way, Petre Nicolae manages to contribute with an important know-how in the field of marketing, an increasing field, helping the Romanian specialists to connect
